What people ask us most
Visa, seasons, pace, food: short and accurate answers.
April-May and September-October: clear skies, mild temperatures, full markets. In summer the Kyzylkum often passes 40 °C; winter is short but cold in Khiva. Our departures cover both good seasons.
No. The price covers everything that happens in Uzbekistan — accommodation, meals, guide, transport, entrance fees, tourist tax. The international flight is yours to book; we can arrange it on the group’s dates.
At the time of writing, citizens of most European countries — including France, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland — enter Uzbekistan without a visa for up to 30 days with a valid passport. Rules vary by nationality and can change: tell us yours and we confirm in writing the rule in force when you book.
No. A single room is available on every departure for €230 over the ten nights (€220 on reduced-fare departures). In the yurt camp, accommodation is shared: five to six people.
Yes. You join the group on the departure you choose: every departure is guaranteed from three travellers in total. If the minimum were not reached, we would tell you at least thirty days before and offer another date or a full refund.
You send your request, we confirm your place, then send a 30 % deposit invoice. The balance is due thirty days before departure. No payment is taken online.
The tour is graded easy: no hiking, but three long road days — 340 km for Shakhrisabz, 230 km to Yangikazgan, 460 km to Khiva. Sightseeing is on foot, often on uneven paving.
All meals included, Uzbek cooking: plov, shashlik, soups, pelmeni in Khiva, fruit and tandyr bread. Five meals stand apart — in family homes, under the stars, on a terrace facing Bukhara lit up. Tell us about any diet when you book.
Guaranteed departures are guided in French. If you would rather have a guide in English, German or Russian, ask us about the private version of the tour.
